Born in 1999, Pascale is a French-Canadian artist whose work is characterized by the clash of a playful, colourful palette, and gloomy, often unsettling figures. Finding fascination into depicting the human condition and experience, she showcases on her oil paintings deformed shapes of humanoids, illustrating metaphors through intimate portraits of the human body. Pascale’s work is an introspective and philosophical reaction to our social dilemmas, as she creates a body of work that grows and evolve with its public, prompting reflections on habits, vulnerability, femininity, and emotionality.

Pascale’s work appeared in praised and award winning publications including Hyperallergic (August 2024), Suboart Magazine (Nr.23, 2024), Woo Publications (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), and was covered by CBC Canada (Boulevard du Pacifique, 2018). She exhibited her work in solo, duo and group exhibitions across Canada (BC, Ontario, and Quebec), in France (Paris), in Japan (Fukuoka), and soon in Mexico (Mexico City). Pascale’s work gained the attention of local and global audiences due to her active presence in Canadian and international art residencies, and from her investment in her local art scene with her participation to Art Battles, group exhibitions, and underground multidisciplinary events: www.pascalejeanartist.com
